Removal of center floor panel, 2006 190 bay.

I would like to know what the easiest way to remove the center floor panel just aft of the consoul, it looks simple but it extends under the transom close out, the reason I wish to remove it is because the lakes in the southern California area are conducting very extensive boat inspections before entering the water, quagga mussle problem, if your found with any standing water or debris of any kind, its a one month ban from that lake. So I would love to get under there and clean it out to a show room finish. This is a problem that is starting to hit the southern California area. I contacted the dealer and they told me they have never done that before, and didn't sound all that interested in doing it. Any suggestions?

I checked with the factory for you on this and here was their response:

"To remove the floor you will also have to remove all the fasteners holding down the splash well, you don't have to remove the engine but you will have to be able to lift up the front of the splashwell to get the floor up. There are screws that will need to be removed along the front of the splash well on the outer and inner edge as well as along the sides. Don't forget to use Elastomeric Marine Sealant when re-installing the screws."
