Transom Spashwell Triumph Fix
Ordered the molded pieces for the splashwells that Triumph manufactured for this annoying situation. My first effort to fix this has not worked, I put the clear access covers in a few years ago, but water still got into the compartments. It really hasnt been too much of a big deal other than it stinks after a while and extra weight back there when trailering and on the water.
so today I removed the panels again, and in the process appreciated the strength of Rule Elastomeric sealant, wow! finally got them off and cleaned em up, then put in the new molded pieces and guess what, they dont really fit!! anyone else try these yet. my boat is an older Logic 210 and maybe this is the reason, not sure. i may just leave them there or try to shave off a bit, I'll have to give Triumph a call next week. rich |

I just did this a couple weeks ago. I did not see a left and right marking on the blocks, but I kept turning them and placing them untill the fit best. Then I used rule to fill the crack all the way around the blocks before putting the covers back on the wells. I did nt have enough rule to seal all the way around hte covers. only have 5 inches left on one side to seal.

I didnt see any L or R markings either, and believe me I spun them every possible way and also switched L and R to make sure this wasnt it. there is still a big gap to fill, I may give Triumph a call to see what they suggest or just go back to the way I had it before and live with it!

Best way I know is go to "photos" then "member galleries" then click on "s" and look for Stalker. Mine have a 1" L and R right on top, but they also came with the boat. 2005 210. There is a 2/8-3/8" gap all the way around.

just found your pics, it looks similar to the way mine fit, mine arent quite flush, so I'm not positive how the cover will fit back on there, have to do a little more investigating. If they were a bit more flush it would help. I wonder what Triumph would think of a drain inside of those things...... I'd probably just leave it open all the time and when I pull the boat it would drain out! maybe its too close to the transom to be drilling, not sure.
