Question 120sdcc jet outboard

Hi every one. I am a new and happy owner of a 2004 brand new left over 120 sd cc model. It has no engine. I had being researching options, and I am motivated with the new 25 Hp mercury jet; but it is heavy and expensive motor and I don't know if the hull configuration will be appropiate for this set up. I don't have any experiency about jets; but I fish flats and I do some trolling... Does any one have any inputs if it could be a good option? Thanks the forum for helping everyone sharing valuable information. Frank.

Outboard jets are really intended for flat bottom boats. The V form of your boat will direct the water away from the intake. They also use 30% more fuel than a typical prop drive outboard.
