costal baja, I'm not sure what conditions you have in the Sea of Cortez, but yesterday was the first big test of my 190 Bay. I tagged along with a friend that has a Triumph 210CC, and we went to the Chandeleur Islands south of Gulfport, MS in the Gulf of Mexico. The seas were in the neighbourhood of about 2 to 4 feet. The 190 Bay handled well under the circumstances.

Another guy that was with us said that he had a 22 ft. bay boat, he didn't mention what make it was, but he said that with the design of his boat, he wouldn't have been able to make it out to the Chandeleur Islands like the 190 Bay did.

0-2' with 4-5 wave sec= 40 miles out, 3-5' bow up 15knts to trolling speed only
It just varies but I find I can run with the 210's offshore but a little wetter with wind and seas.

Now, I have fished off Dixie Bar in 8' swells that made me put on an offshore vest and had no problems going out but hairy coming in as you are surfing the waves but no problem keeping straight under power. The result were two @28" Spanish on the grill with greek seasoning and butter! Fishing competition was only one other boat! So, the fish didn't have any other options but to bite my rigs!

These boats float so high, you can do alot more than fiberglass boats this size, just use your head.
