115 on a 210 cc

does any one have a 115 on a 210 cc . I am looking at a 2003 with a 115 yamaha do you think it is under powered ??? any one have one on thier boat I know most have a 150 . I would be using the boat west coast california what do you think.

i have a 150 on mine and definitely think that 115 would be way underpowered.

I have a 195CC with a 150HP on it. I think it would be underpowered with a 115. I think you would burn more fuel with a 115 on a 210 boat than you would with a 150 due to the fact that you would be running the engine harder most of the time. That may shorten the life span of your 115 also. Just my 2 cents.

There Are Times Between Troughs And Trying To Bust Thru An Inlet That I Wish I Had More Than The 140 Johnson 4s On Mine---115 On A Lake Or Protected Waters Ok But Not In The Nasty Stuff

I have a 115, wish I had a 150, but in 2002 they had not come out with a 150 4 stroke, So I was stuck with a 115. I could of had 135 opt...but did not want a 2 stroke. 115 still has plenty of power, and she performs just fine, with a T-Top and fully loaded, I can, on a flat day, get about 39 miles an hour.
