Charleston SC Triumph Help & Dealer
I am a first time fishing boat buyer and I came across the Triumph and I am really, really impressed. I want to buy one but I need advice on what a good used model would be for SC lake & inshore fishing would be. I also am having a hard time finding a dealer in Charleston SC. I would appreciate any help and advise. Thanks!!

We were down there last September and fished Lake Marion for those big catfish with a guide on a pontoon boat. I didn't own a boat then, but didn't waste much time getting one. Also toured the Charleston area waters. I talked with a guy there that goes shrimping in the harbor. I would love to come back some day and try that. I would say that a 170cc or 190bay would be ideal for you. I just got a 170cc and use it on the Chesapeake Bay out of Havre De Grace, MD. Here is the website for a dealer in your area. In my opinion you can't go wrong with a Triumph. http://plantationmarine.triumphboatdealer.com/ Good luck and good fishing, JimW |

I can't help you with a dealer, but I live in Columbia and own a 190 Bay. I use it in Lake Murray year round and about 4 weeks a year on the coast. I have taken it 20 miles offshore (on a really good day) off of Hilton Head to the Betsy Ross reef. I love the boat, just wish they made a 24 ft Bay. :-)
You can go to Triumph's site and choose the "locate a dealer" button. Good luck! ~Jason
