1997 Logic 170CC
I have been looking at the Triumph boats. I have found a used Logic 170 CC 1997. It looks like the weight and capacity is less than current 170CC models. I was wondering if this is due to less plastic in the boat and would this make the boat unsafe. It is hard to find much information on the older logic boats and wondering if there is any good or bad experiences with these on this forum. Thanks, any information would be helpful.

Early LOGIC owner.
I believe there was a change in the mold; don’t know how drastic, in the 170cc Logic in 1997/1998. Mine was one of the first out of the new mould. I drove to the factory from New Mexico and picked it up. The boat has been satisfactory and tough after many MAJOR modifications from bow to stern! In my opinion the bow is a bit too tender, but certainly workable. Tuff hull and friendly to work on. All boats have problems but glad to have a Logic. Helpful Hints. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. HIGH&DRY |
