John, welcome to the web site. There are Triumph dealers in Australia, so that would be my first suggestion at finding a 195. There might be more than one dealer is the USA that has experience shipping boats overseas, but the dealer I know of that has this experience for sure is Merritt Marine, a sponsor of this site.

Good luck on your search.

Glehav, good question. Like you, I really think he needs to look at buying close to home. According to the Triumph web site, there are three Triumph dealers in New South Whales, which is the area of the country Sydney is located.

Hopefully some folks located in that part of Australia will jump in to help.

Thumbs up 195 cc buying in the usa

thank you all for your feed back , I have email already Merretmarine and we are working out a price.
The reason I am searching overseas is that you get a better deal even after you have paid the shipping fees .
Here in Australia the boats are still new to the market and thus they are still been sold for high prices.
The 07 boats are sold for far above your 08 prices even though the Australian dollar is strong against the USA dollar. So i thought do my home work and compare prices with shipping and land prices included from a boat in the USA against a boat from here in Australia and it makes sense to buy one overseas .The only problem is the warrenty on the outboards. some are not transferable overseas.
Thank you for your feed back and i will keep you posted also if anybody wants to sell a used 195 cc or a 210cc let me know as i am interested in both markets
thank you again john

Hi John,

I have had my 195DC for a short time and agree with you on the price issue.

It will be interesting to see what sort of dollars (US or AU) you can save by importing directly.

Meanwhile i'm in the southern suburbs of Sydney if you are interested in having a chat about these hulls, or having a look at mine. Send me a contact number ... tony_w@ihug.com.au
