Question 190 bay question

hi everyone, just got back from Afghanistan and looking forward to trading in an 02 186 cool bay for 08, 190 bay. can't wait. anyway i have multiple questions.
1) 08 190 bay has 115 e-tec, if anyone has an e-tec is it a good engine, had new 90 honda.
2) do center console and seat covers fit on new 190 from old 186.
3) I have a winter cover and it fits good on 186, 190 has bow rail and was wondering if it would fit or am I gonna have to buy new one. if covers don't fit does anyone know where to get 190 console, seat and whole boat covers to fit, (seat by the way is reversible back, didn't want leaning post set-up).
thanks and looking forward to joining web site after purchase.

Hi John. First, thank you for your service to our great nation. It is very much respected and appreciated here. Also you are more than welcome to register a free 1-year Captains Club Member subscription with your current boat and we can update it with your new boat information when you purchase it. Just click on the register link to register a new account or login and update the required information if you have registered before.

To your questions... I would recommend calling a dealer in your area for definitive answers on the cushions. If you don't have a local dealer contact Chad, Dick or Carl at Merritt Marine (Merritt Marine...your Triumph Boat factory dealer!). They have a wide selection of current and previous year model accessories for Triumph Boats. They will probably have the cushions you'd need for your boat and can certainly answer any questions about the boat.

Welcome John,

I now have 2 Etecs, a 2005 60hp on an Australian made Polycraft and a 2008 175hp on a 195DC ... these motors are bulletproof and I have given the 60hp WOT more often that not.

Even the Triumph Bubba Test had an Etec on it

Etec Owner opinions, setups and issues can be found here ...
