Yamaha F115 help!

I have a 2006 Yamaha F115 motor on my 190 bay. I notice sometimes while idling or slow speed I hear a noise coming from the engine. It almost seems like a belt noise. Does anyone else ever experience this?

Thanks.

~Jason

There is a belt which may create some noise. I spray alittle silicone on it to reduce the noise.
My Yamaha friend said its nothing to worry about.

Yes I have the same noise. I was getting worried and wanted to find out more. What kind of silicone should I use. Spray or tube? Brand?
Thanks Aron

I also have an '06 190 w/F115. I started getting the same noise/RPM range around 90 hrs or so. My dealer says it's normal.
I'm leary about spraying anything on the timing belt though...might it void a warranty if it was blamed for a premature failure?

thanks for all the answers. Atleast if it is a problem, it is a mass problem. :-)
