Engine Questions - What's my Yamy?

I just bought a new '06 21CC powered by a Yamaha 150TXR old school two-stroke.

1) How much does my engine weigh?

2) What is the size and pitch of my prop? It feels like it's set up for hole shot - I pop up on plane in 2-3 seconds at 3,000 rmp, and can't max out my RPM when I go WOT at about 34mph (GPS).

Yamaha has stripped all their specific engine specs from their website, and the owner's manual is as vague as a politician's campaign promises.

Thanks!

that is not an old school 2 stroke. that is fuel injected and I believe probably one of the hpdi engines. Not sure on the last part but if it is, it is an awsome motor. rpms shoule be around 5500 . I have a 150 yamaha hpdi and turn a 14.25 dia 18 pitch 4 blade stainless.. I can only turn 5250 rpm but my speed is average around 42

The two strokes are listed on the bottom of the chart...the 150 TXR is listed as 426 pounds.

You're right Cagrove...426. I saw the model # and didn't notice it was for a 4-stroke vs. a 2.

Thanks for the engine info, guys.

So it weighs 426 lbs, and the prop is (probably) a 14.25 diameter 18 pitch four blade? I need to buy a second prop, and I needed a starting point.

Much obliged!
