I googled "yamaha 150TXR and found this web link that shows it at 475 lbs.

that is not an old school 2 stroke. that is fuel injected and I believe probably one of the hpdi engines. Not sure on the last part but if it is, it is an awsome motor. rpms shoule be around 5500 . I have a 150 yamaha hpdi and turn a 14.25 dia 18 pitch 4 blade stainless.. I can only turn 5250 rpm but my speed is average around 42

The two strokes are listed on the bottom of the chart...the 150 TXR is listed as 426 pounds.

Thanks for the engine info, guys.
So it weighs 426 lbs, and the prop is (probably) a 14.25 diameter 18 pitch four blade? I need to buy a second prop, and I needed a starting point. Much obliged! |
