Cargo Net Retainer

Description: I had an old cargo net from a past truck / SUV that I had saved and found it to work very well to retain the cooler while also adding an extra location to place loose / wet gear or trash that is out of the way. I just used some wire ties to secure it to the leaning post and I am sure one could find other types if cargo nets at retail or automotive stores that would also work.

Description: Works well, just need to come up with a leaning bar that I can also take apart so you feel a little more secure and to help you get up and down from it. Also makes for a nice big place to set down when you get a little tired.

Description: Got lucky and found out that the space in the port side rear compartment under the seat (that is never used and since removed) will store the forward casting platform when all apart.

Description: That extra height will come in handy out on the Flats and since it comes apart, I can store it on the boat. The only storage issue i have is finding where to place the top deck since it is larger and will not fit into the forward hatches. Will update when I find a good place to secure it.

Description: Looking to install some leaning bars to help one feel more stable when on it. The fact that it is on a Triumph and not a Fiberglass boat makes it "feel" loose due to the deck flexing under it. May not have that issue once the boat is on the water and has more overall support under the deck unlike when setting on the trailer.

Description: Was cleaning the boat today and took some quick shots of the new Super Stick install. http://www.thesuperstick.com/ Fits perfect and looking forward to sneaking up on some Reds using this puppy. Really like the tool built into the foot to retrieve my lures that land in Mangrove trees all the time. I figure that all will pay for the Push Pole in due time.

Description: Finally had the old CD player removed (dead more than it worked) and had some starboard covers made for the old speakers holes. Nice fit and looks factory installed and also gives me a new place to install items (if needed) going forward.

Description: Another shot of the update to console. Oh and if you are wondering, the cleat on the port bow is about useless with the trolling motor in the way. So I use a quick line that I can snap on to the console rail to hold the boat in place. By using that line so close to the port stern cleat, it is much easier to both control the boat when you tie up and untie the boat when handling alone like I do most days.

Description: Now I can carry 8 pre-rigged rods ready to fish and out of the way when casting. These also hold the rods in place very snug with bungee straps when going over waves and much better than any other holders I have used in the past! These were designed for mounting under the deck cap of Flats Boats.

Description: Now it took some time for me to find one that I liked and had to have several things. Light weight, would not rust, and needed a good set of feet and of course a nice grab rail to lean against. That extra few feet higher make for a big difference in sight picture.

Description: Now I was hoping to find one I could store inside one of the forward hatches, but this one is about 1 inch too long. No biggie though since the latching hook for the ladder fits perfect over the back of my lower leaning post and is held in place pretty snug that way.

Description: I had the guru's over at Sunray Marine install a set of one way scuppers in-line of the deck drain hoses. This way if caught out in the rain and I can run back in and not have to have the practice golf balls installed to prevent water coming back into the boat when at rest. So far they work pretty well and something the factory should do to all 190's...

Description: Close up shot of the same and you can turn the holder to however you want it placed to save on space. I do not consider this a storage spot, but just a way to have them secure when running from one location to another that is quick to use. I am not even sure if I will install all 6 as of yet since having rods in this position like this, can make it hard to cast at times.

Description: I found some rod holders from a company called Deep Blue 888-915-1999 that did not have the molded in square stand-offs. So I pulled out one of the factory inserts and had them cut down to 8.5 inches long and they fit. You just tap them in with a rubber mallet and if needed you can also pull them back out. At least now if they do get water in them, they should also dry out much faster.

Description: 24M-XH 800CCA 1000MCA Interstate Marine Cranking Batteries. Notice these are the small batteries (size) but exceeds the cold cranking amp. Also notice the battery boxes installed ont the bottom for stability. My local Yamaha dealer put this in for me. It came out very clean and with plenty of cranking power.

Description: I did think of that (for once) and one of my better ideas! It works great for not only resting your feet on but to stand up on to look for fish while running. I have been testing it for months and love it. George took some old decking material I had from my old 210 and really ran with my idea.

Description: It uses Stainless Steel L brackets that attach to screws already in floor to hold it down and secure in front (no new screw holes) and it is very stout and fairly heavy. I have had well over 500 pounds worth of Red Fish hunters on it and it does not move or give.

Description: View of the prototype RUP deck that I cooked up and had made for the 190. It is at a pefect hight for me to stand on while running and can hold onto the top windscreen bar with one hand and the other on the wheel. Works great for running at minmal plane speeds looking for schools of fish on the flats or nearshore for that matter.

Description: I keep ruining my raw water washdown hoses with fishing hooks and such poking holes in the hose. I was searching on Google to see if I could find a hose station for the boat when I found Bayourunner's hose holder modification that he posted here on Triumph boat owners pictures. A quick mod with a knife to a fender and I mounted it with some Velcro straps. Easy and FREE is for me. Thanks again Bayourunner!

Description: Custom Sunbrella cover. It takes about 15 minutes to put it up by myself. The front and back pieces were made to just slide in on the T-top grove slides, then you just zip the two sides together and tie to the trailer.
