Bigger Better Transom Saver becuase Orginal Lag Bolt Cracked Transom Hull
I don't really know how serious this was but the crack would definitely gap bigger when I was at WOT and it scared me.

I also had a broken bolt head (see top view of old transom saver saddle above crack) that was missing all together.

My Splash well foam inserts were flooded and nasty. It could have only gotten worse.

With the 6 inch transom crack ground out and welded shut and the new 1/4 inch Aluminum Transom Saver with a much bigger extended saddle and the 4 versus 2 bolts on the motor coupled with the with 6 new extra thru bolts that I am going to put thru the new bigger extended saddle it should be stronger than ever.

I plan to load the 10 thru bolt holes with RULE as well.
