Great pictures. My downriggers are not electric and the mounting is a little different than yours, but you did a great job. Should help a lot of Triumph owners start their own downrigger project. Thanks again for sharing.

Rodman, How do you like the location for the rigger? I wonder if it isn't inconvenient when you have to attach your line to the clip? I have mine mounted midship for that reason.
Sure like your placement of the power plug. It was the problem of the power cord that kept me from going with electrics. Your idea would solve that for me.

The base of the Scotty rotates with a flip of the finger. I just flip it around to the starboard side, hook the clip, and rotate it back to the stern. I am actually trying to figure out how to use the downrigger for hooping for lobsters. Might be trying it in the next month or so.
