I racked my brain for a quite a few days thinking of a fix and I have my partner @ work to thank for coming up with the solution. Drill a #7 hole beside the sliding arm to stop it from going into the towing position. Originally I was going to drill and tap a 1/4-20 hole and use a screw, but then it was easy to loose a small screw.
