Original owner had a serious crack from dropping anchor so I cut some star board and RULE and screwed it in. Sorry it has not been clean yet. No way to drain though other tan sponge or wet vac but it should be that big of a deal. Better than a breached hull.

there is a drain hole below the eye bolt so if you drill a few holes the water should drain out---but then mud and sand might stop up the drain hole

are you talking about small drill holes because I had a couple and ruled then shut, but i see how i could drill from the inside above the false floor all the way thru the hull and the splash water would drip out. I had to put in the false floor because i hade a gaping hole breaching the inner hull.

thanks great idea.
