This raises the bracket for the bimini top about 1.5" so the bimini can lay flat toward the back of the boat. It is a piece of 1.5" stainless square tubing. I purchased the tubing online from a company called Speedy Metals - they will sell you as much or as little as you need of all kinds of metal. www.speedymetals.com
